Ramona Laczkó-Dávid

Ramona Laczkó-Dávid has a relevant career in the cultural sector, recognized for her significant contributions to the development and implementation of cultural programs at both national and international levels. With a strategic vision and a deep understanding of the role culture plays in society, after more than 10 years of work in the cultural sector across Europe and Asia, she has dedicated the last few years to strengthening Timișoara’s cultural sector.
Since 2022, Ramona Laczkó-Dávid has held several key roles in Timișoara’s cultural landscape, including Coordinator of the Cultural Programme for Timișoara 2023 – European Capital of Culture, Coordinator of the Power Station Programme, and International Relations Officer within the Project Centre of the Municipality of Timișoara. She oversaw the strategic directions of the cultural legacy programme, contributing to coherence, transparency, and community engagement across all stages of implementation. Her extensive experience in coordinating cultural projects and developing cross-sector partnerships gives her an integrative perspective, with a focus on sustainable impact.
Ramona Laczkó-Dávid is a graduate of the master’s program “Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education” at Maastricht University, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences - Arts and Culture (the Netherlands). With an international career in cultural management, she has held coordination roles in Romania, Spain, and Singapore, collaborating with organizations such as the Asia-Europe Foundation, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, and the Interarts Foundation. After returning to Romania, she contributed to the revitalization of heritage through the FortiVacation program of the Fortified Churches Foundation, bringing a vision centered on cooperation, sustainability, and long-term impact.
