A flagship international conference bringing together industry leaders, artists and innovators for panels, workshops, showcases, and meaningful industry connections.
EEMC is a conference and platform that bridges the entrepreneurial live music sector with policymakers, researchers and educators — actively shaping the next generation of live music professionals. Through panels, keynotes, workshops, case studies and curated networking, it fosters dialogue, knowledge transfer and long-term structural development.
"In a divided world, we believe in the power of meeting in real life — LIVE — as a space for creativity, exploration, empathy and the practice of tolerance. We value human connection as a force for a more humane society, in a kinder world, on a safer and more sustainable planet."
EEMC is dedicated to the entire live music ecosystem — the complex, creative and deeply human network behind every show, tour and festival. Bookers, promoters, managers, agents, technicians, production managers, sound and light designers, venues, festivals, brands, policymakers, educators and cultural strategists: these are the people EEMC brings together. The people who turn ideas into experiences — and music into moments that stay with us for life.
Live music sits at the intersection of art, entrepreneurship, technology, community and emotion. EEMC explores exactly this intersection — where creativity meets structure, where passion meets professionalism, and where local scenes connect to international circuits.
The conference addresses the real challenges and opportunities facing the sector today: sustainability, fair working conditions, audience development, new business models, policy frameworks, digital tools, cross-border mobility and the future of festivals and touring.
In a time when traditional forms of public discourse are shrinking, live music gatherings are becoming spaces to shape visibility, address urgent themes and build more sustainable futures — socially, economically, ecologically and culturally.
Behind every artist stands an ecosystem. Strengthening that ecosystem means strengthening culture itself.
EEMC is a platform for those who understand that live music is not just entertainment — it is a social, economic and cultural force capable of shaping cities, communities and identities. It is where the people who build it, sustain it and carry it forward come together.
We love to meet. In real life. LIVE.
The Music Moves Europe Dialogue at EEMC provides a dedicated space for Europe-wide exchange on the current challenges facing the live music sector. Supported by the Creative Europe Programme, this dialogue brings together live music professionals, festival networks, policymakers, and key stakeholders from across the continent.
Fostering dialogue on power concentration, growth, diversity, sustainability, mobility, working conditions, and the future of live music in Europe — with a particular focus on the future we build for young professionals and the next generation of movers and shakers across the European music scene.
Romania's capital is an often overlooked gem — flying under the radar, but filled with cultural vibrancy and brimming with touristic potential. A crossroads between East and West, Bucharest is a showcase of contrasting perspectives and cultures: architecture, gastronomy, art and music are as diverse and remarkable as it gets.
A fertile ground for critical thinking, honest dialogue, courageous exploration and bold intervention.
