The Music Moves Europe Dialogue at EEMC provides a dedicated space for Europe-wide exchange on the current challenges facing the live music sector. Supported by the Creative Europe Programme, this dialogue brings together live music professionals, festival networks, policymakers, and key stakeholders from across the continent.

Evenimentul de deschidere al EEMC promite o seară plină de energie și muzică autentică alături de Balkan Taksim, una dintre cele mai originale trupe din România. Cu un mix unic de ritmuri folk și sunete electronice, Balkan Taksim creează un caleidoscop muzical colorat și vibrant, continuând să surprindă publicul după succesul albumului lor de debut „Disko Telegraf” (2021) cu al doilea album „Acide balkanique” (2025). Trupa a cântat la Paléo Festival de Nyon, Paraiso Festival Madrid, BOZAR Bruxelles, Balkanik Festival, Electric Castle, Jazz in the Park și Astra Film Festival. Au fost susținuți de Iggy Pop, Gilles Peterson, Nick Luscombe și Stuart Maconie, și au fost nominalizați la Music Moves Europe Awards (2022). Pentru acest concert special de inaugurare al EEMC, li se vor alătura doi invitați de seamă, prieteni ai trupei, fiecare cu propria contribuție impresionantă la conservarea și actualizarea patrimoniului muzical regional.
