These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.eemusic.ro („Site”), including the purchase of tickets through our Site and participation in events organized by the East European Music Conference (EEMC).
EEMC is organized by ARTmania Cultural Association (Asociația Culturală ARTmania), established and based in Bucharest, Romania, as described below.
By accessing the EEMC website or registering for any EEMC event, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our website or buy a ticket or participate in any EEMC event.

Participation in EEMC events may require prior registration and the purchase of a ticket. Upon purchasing a ticket for EEMC event, subsequent to the purchase and upon participation in the event, as the case may be, participants submit unconditionally to the content of these terms and conditions.
Buyers and ticket agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering or purchasing tickets and update these data when it is necessary, so that the Organizer can ensure proper informing in connection with the events.
Offers, participating artists, price lists, and other information are for information purposes and can be changed without prior notice by the organizer. The organizer cannot be held liable for eventual errors or no-shows, unless it significantly changes the event.
The organizer has the right and the obligation to request the buyer of the ticket to respect all safety measures provided by the legislative acts in force.
Also, with the purpose of ensuring the health and safety of all participants at the event, both public and the organizing team, the Organizer reserves the right to impose on participants at EEMC events any safety and health measures, which can include (but are not limited to) relocations of tickets (seated places), modification of the access schedule, special outflow measures etc.
If the buyer of the ticket does not agree to respect the measures imposed at the date of the event, within the precinct of the event and in the perimeter around the event, as these are described above, the Organizer has the right and the obligation to refuse them access to the event and in this case will not reimburse the value of the ticket. The safety measures imposed by the Organizer, which can include (but are not limited to) the relocation of tickets (seated places), modification of the access schedule, special outflow measures etc. are not negotiable and do not represent a reason for the restitution of the value of the ticket.
Participants at events are requested to check the access regulation before events on the EEMC Site and on their social media platforms, the respecting of markings at queues and on the floors of the location, as well as other indications and precautions communicated at the location.
Tickets are personal and may not be resold, transferred, or used for commercial purposes without the explicit consent of the Organizer. Nevertheless, for the purpose of clarity, in case the buyer of the ticket, upon purchasing it, and the participant at the EEMC event who holds a valid ticket, are different persons, they both agree with the present conditions and terms, [and] oblige themselves to respect both the measures imposed in a legal manner, as well as the rules of access and conduct imposed by the Organizer at the moment of purchasing the access ticket, before the date of unfolding, during the event and/or at the location where the event takes place.
A ticket is valid for a single person and for a single access to the show/event inscribed on the purchased ticket.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations that violate these terms.
Partners. We are not responsible for for the organization, execution, or safety of events hosted by DokStation or other third-party partners, even if such events are promoted on our website. Any claims, including but not limited to ticket refunds, cancellations, or changes in scheduling, must be directed to the respective event organizers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party event information and shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from your attendance at these events.

The EEMC Gala, which will take place at the National Theatre Bucharest on 21 May, requires a separate ticket.
All ticket purchases must be completed through the official ticketing channels specified on the EEMC website.

All applicable taxes and fees will be included or clearly indicated during checkout.
The Organizer is authorized to search participants and their belongings or to request identification both upon entry to the event area and for the duration of the EEMC event.
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse access or evacuate from the EEMC event the following persons:
If a participant fails to comply with the law and/or the Organizer’s terms and conditions, resulting in a fine for the Organizer, the participant may be held liable by the Organizer for the recovery of the fine’s value.
Participants are prohibited from entering the event area with: audio/video equipment, recording devices, animals, drugs, food, drinks, glass bottles, PET bottles, glow sticks, umbrellas (rain ponchos are recommended in case of rain), fireworks, firearms, bladed weapons, or any other objects that could become dangerous to other participants.
Participants are not permitted to offer goods of any kind for sale or free consumption on the premises without written permission from the Organizer.
MINOR ACCESS: EEMC is a professional business conference. Therefore, access is strictly limited to individuals aged 16 and over. Minors under 16 are not permitted to attend as the content is tailored for professional audiences. Proof of age (ID card/Passport) may be requested at the entrance. All attendees must hold a valid ticket or invitation in order to participate in the conference events, film screenings, and showcases.
This age restriction applies specifically to events taking place at ARCUB. There is no age restriction for the EEMC Gala. For events hosted at Control Club, the venue’s own age policy applies.
INCLUSION: As a private professional event, EEMC is committed to fostering an inclusive environment for music industry professionals. Considering the venue capacity and evacuation protocols for assisted persons, EEMC offers a maximum of 10 complimentary passes for persons with disabilities. These are reserved for professionals or students with a documented link to the creative industries. Applicants must provide a copy of their valid disability certificate and a short description or proof of their professional connection to the music industry. Requests must be submitted to management@eemusic.ro no later than 10th of April 2026. If a personal assistant is legally required (as specified on the certificate), their access will be managed according to the same professional eligibility criteria. EEMC reserves the right to evaluate requests based on professional relevance and available venue capacity.
The Organizer is NOT responsible for:
Tickets purchased for EEMC are generally non-refundable. However, in the event of a total cancellation by the Organizer or a force majeure or a significant change to the event (as described below), the buyer is entitled to a full refund within 30 days of the request, in accordance with the Romanian legislation, by addressing the Organizer (at management@eemusic.ro)– while respecting these general conditions. All relevant information regarding these situations will be communicated publicly in due time, through official channels. Thus, the Organizer recommends ticket buyers to periodically check (at least once a month from the moment of ticket purchase until the day of the event) the Site and/or social media platforms of the Organizer, to be up to date with all information regarding EEMC events.Resale of tickets for a price higher than the original face value plus service fees is strictly prohibited and illegal under Romanian Law.
EEMC reserves the right to modify the speaker lineup or schedule for reasons beyond its control. However, according to GEO 140/2021, as amended, if a substantial change occurs (defined as a change of date or a relocation to a city other than the one originally announced), the Participant has the right to either accept the change or request a full refund of the ticket price within 14 days of the announcement.
Such changes may occur due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control or for operational reasons.
EEMC will make reasonable efforts to inform participants of significant changes.
All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during EEMC events.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from the event without refund if they violate this code of conduct.
EEMC events may be photographed, recorded, or streamed.
By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes the use of image and sound recordings for promotional, editorial or documentation purposes based on our Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as detailed in our website’s GDPR section.
In accordance with Romanian Civil Code, by participating in a professional public event, you acknowledge that general crowd shots may be used for promotion.

If you wish to exercise your right to object to being featured in close-up promotional content, please inform the staff at the check-in desk to receive a specific identifier (lanyard/sticker).
All content presented during the conference, including but not limited to presentations, materials, videos, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of the respective speakers, partners, or the organizer.
Participants may not record for commercial use or use AI-automated tools tos crape data from presentations, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use conference materials without prior written consent. Participants who violate one of the rules mentioned above are liable for the payment of sums as damages-interests.
Users agree to use the EEMC website only for lawful purposes.

The Organizer reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to users who violate these rules.
EEMC takes personal data protection seriously.
Personal information collected through the website or during event registration is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Participants are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy to understand how their personal data is collected, used, and protected.

While the Organizer takes all reasonable measures to ensure a safe environment in accordance with Romanian safety regulations, participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and for following all safety instructions provided on-site. The Organizer’s liability for any proven direct damages is limited to the value of the ticket paid, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct as provided by the Romanian Civil Code.
All provisions of this section also apply to the organizer’s employees, as well as its suppliers or involved third parties.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for the non-performance of its obligations in the event of Force Majeure (an external, unforeseeable, invincible, and unavoidable event, natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, strikes or civil unrest), in accordance with the Romanian Civil Code. The Organizer reserves the right to reschedule the event, and Force Majeure shall exonerate the Organizer from the payment of any compensations or damages to participants, with the exception of the refund obligations provided by consumer protection legislation (OUG 140/2021).
In such cases, the organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel the event, as described herein. Participants will be notified of the new date and given 14 days to accept the transfer.
EEMC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. In the event of material changes that impact your rights, we will notify you via the email address provided or through a prominent notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Updated versions will be published on this official website. Continued use of the website or participation in the event after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions are supplemented by the provisions of OUG 140/2021 and OG 21/1992 regarding consumer protection.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Romania.
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania. Consumers may also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) for mediation at www.anpc.ro
