Frank Klaffs is a music industry professional with over 30 years of experience spanning artist representation, label management, and international cultural projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Frank began his career as a copyright and label manager at Piranha Musik (Berlin) and later worked as an independent music publicist, representing internationally acclaimed artists such as Boban Marković, Fanfare Ciocărlia, The Klezmatics, and Tinariwen. He is currently CEO of Piranha Arts, where he leads international initiatives at the intersection of music, culture, and professional exchange. He is also actively involved in projects with Piranha Records and the WOMEX Academy. Frank’s work has a strong international focus, including collaborations with the Goethe-Institut in Juba (South Sudan) and Beirut (Lebanon), as well as projects with COSCAP in Barbados and Jamaica. He has also contributed to the European collaboration platform MOST Bridge for Balkan Music.
