ARCUB – Main Stage

May 21–22 · Daytime 84–90 Lipscani Street, Bucharest Old Town, Romania
At the heart of this year’s East European Music Conference is ARCUB (Hanul Gabroveni), the central meeting point for debates, hands-on workshops, networking, and live acts. Located in Bucharest’s Old Town, this landmark cultural space brings together the city’s layered history and contemporary creative pulse – an ideal stage for the conversations shaping live music today. The Main Hall at ARCUB is a versatile performance space designed to host conferences, talks, and live events in a professional yet intimate setting. With a flexible layout and a capacity suited for medium-scale audiences, the venue offers high-quality sound, lighting, and stage infrastructure, ensuring optimal conditions for both speakers and performers. The hall is complemented by adjacent spaces such as The Studio and foyer areas, enabling parallel sessions, workshops, and informal networking throughout the venue. Housed within the restored Hanul Gabroveni – a historic 18th-century merchant inn – ARCUB seamlessly blends heritage architecture with modern production capabilities, creating a unique environment where cultural dialogue and live performance naturally intersect.
