With experience in behavioural change methodologies, organizational culture, community development, and interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration, Mihai Lupu brings a strategic perspective to emergency response and public preparedness.He is currently serving as Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Raed Arafat, Head of the Department for Emergency Situations within Romania’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he contributes to the coordination of complex emergency response mechanisms and multi-stakeholder engagement.Mihai is also a board member of Academics Stand Against Poverty, a Fellow of the Yale Global Justice Program, and the founder of the international platform EduCaB, focused on strengthening local social and civic infrastructure in 12 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and Central America.
