Thomas Zsifkovits has entered the music business 25 years ago when he started to manage the band of his best friend. As nobody wanted to give him a job, he started his own business. He promoted club shows and soon after he started his own festival called Mind Over Matter.
In 2001 he joined Wiesen Festivals. Since then he has worked with Ewald Tatar.
When they left that company and started a new business endeavor with Harry Jenner, Zsifkovits was a founding member. A few mergers and name changes followed. Since 15 years, Barracuda Music – as their company is called today – has promoted around 500 shows per year in Austria and festivals such as Nova Rock and Frequency. Artist development is a strong asset of the company. Zsifkovits has already promoted Twenty One Pilots in a 250 capacity and also did it when the band sold out the country’s biggest indoor capacity or headlined Frequency
