Tom (RO)

Tom is the Romanian creator behind Lolita Cercel, one of
Europe’s most successful AI music projects to date. Launched
in 2025, Lolita blends trip-hop production with Romanian
lăutărească tradition, building a fully developed narrative
universe around an AI character.

Since release, Lolita has crossed 17 million streams worldwide,
charted on 127 lists across major platforms, and reached over
240,000 listeners through editorial playlists. The project has
built strong audiences across the Romanian diaspora in Germany,
the UK, Spain, and Italy and It was developed independently from
a home studio.

A self-taught creator with a background in design, Tom defines
Lolita as “a digital music project, human-curated, where AI is
the instrument, not the story.” His work focuses on building
AI characters with cultural depth and narrative worlds.
