Alin Vaida is a cultural manager and festival director based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and the founder of Jazz in the Park, one of the most significant jazz and contemporary music festivals in the region, now preparing its 14th edition. Alongside the festival, he leads Music Gallery, an interactive exhibition and educational project dedicated to music, and Edison House of Music, a former cinema being transformed into a jazz club and year-round music hub.His work sits at the intersection of artistic programming, audience development, and urban regeneration through culture, with a consistent focus on accessibility, community, and the quality of the audience experience. From line-up curation and experience design to organizational strategy, partnerships, and fundraising, Alin approaches culture as an ecosystem that needs both artistic vision and solid infrastructure to grow over the long term.
